Some kitchen safety rules for microwaves.

Microwaves are an easy way of heating baby food. Some manufacturers do not recommend that their products be heated in a microwave oven. Always check the labels.

Some paediatricians do not recommend warming baby bottles in the microwave. It heats the formula unevenly so the bottle can be lukewarm from the outside and burning hot in the middle so it can burn baby's mouth. Always shake the bottle well before use and try a few drops on your inner wrist. It is safer to use a baby bottle warmer or some warmed tap water to warm the bottle.
